Andre's (Our Yorkie) Bedroom Tour: Part 4

Yes, it is true. Our 13 year old Yorkie has a small section of our bedroom that is his area for clothes and rest. We couldn't conclude the Bedroom Tour without sharing his space.

Another Ann Sloan/MMS Makeover: A Dog's Armoire

Happy Weekend! I'm excited to show you my latest mini makeover. :)

My Mom recently gave me a small armoire for Andre, my Yorkie, because she knows and laughs about how much clothes he has. I loved the whole idea of the little piece of furniture, but was not feeling the design of it.....or I just needed another excuse to paint and distress.

I was given a can of "Old Violet" Ann Sloan Chalk paint as a gift. (Can you even get a better gift than this?) I opened the can and was shocked to see the color I saw. I kind of panicked since it was the complete opposite color of the soft lavender I thought I would be working with.

I then remembered that this paint requires a lot of mixing and ending up with this amazing color. Phew.

This was after the first coat of paint....

Things were not looking so hot! So three coats of paint and some distressing....here is the final product.

And these are only half of his clothes :)

Andre...my 11 1/2 year old Yorkie...

Andre, my 12 year old Yorkie, has the same feeling about moving as I do....WE ARE OVER IT!
Poor lil guy has lived in four homes in his 11 1/2 years here and has moved 2 times over the past year. He is a crazy dog, but I can't help but love him to death. He has been with me from 5 weeks old, through happy times and very challenging times, and as crazy as he is.....I love him more than anything.

Was the perfect day to play with my camera...Andre enjoyed it for about 5 minutes.

It is time to introduce the one and only!

Hi everyone! I have been doing a million things lately with Soiledrotten and what turned out to be a "just for fun" hobby is turning into some creative adventures! My brother had mentioned the other day that I should introduce my life to you all...not just my home stuff....so here it goes!
I am going to start with my other mini half...ANDRE! Those of you that know this lil man knows that the small body can be mistaken. He is not the nicest Yorkie but the love of my life and makes me laugh everyday.
This 10 year old boy will soon have his own section on Soiledrotten......along with other new exciting projects!
