Lacey Window

Happy Labor Day Everyone! I wanted to share this project I did with you over the holiday weekend. Remember a few posts back I gave an old window a little makeover?

This is the original window that I turned into a flower planter.
Well.....I had a second window that I wanted to do something a little different than the first. When I was thrifting, I found a lace window curtain for $1.99. I loved the simplicity and beauty in the lace that I could not pass up the great deal for pretty lace : ) I then decided to dress up the old window with the lace curtain and a wood applique that I purchased from Lowe's for $5. Here is the final product.
LOVE the way it came out. So innocent and pretty. Will probably display it on a mini easel. What do you think???

  1. This came out so pretty!
I think it would look great hanging by fishing line in front of a big window or even on a wall with frames around it. It looks like it may be very versatile. I actually just purchased a smaller window that I plan to do a DIY project within the next week. I love windows, there is so much you can do.
