The RED thing continues

My obsession with red continues. My Nye resolution for weekly fresh flowers is thecbest resolution I have ever chosen....and actually stuck too. I love how a $8 bundle of tulips just brings out the colors in the new kitchen curtain. Just loventhe look.

Decorating a bookcase with flea market finds

This bookshelf has become one of my favorite things in my new place. I was finally able to place some of the things I bought at Brimfield. I originally wanted to hang the racquets up on a wall but they looked perfect just where they are.

A Repurposed Party!

I am so excited for my upcoming event on Feb. 10 at my brother's restaurant in Old Tappan, NJ. For all you bloggers that live in this state...we would love to have you join the party! The Party is for a new sector of the restaurant of themed parties that can be rented for your next event at the restaurant! A majority of the decor is repurposed....I am so obsessed! Here is one little sneak peak at one repurposed piece for the party. It is only half way done...

Cupcake Wednesday

Yesterday, I was ready to bake! I challenged myself to a cupcake decorating test and wondered what I would end up with. I purchased all the necessities from the craft store, but totally felt obligated to bake after I found these adorable cupcake holders.The pink cupcakes came out ok but I purchased the wrong icing, so the ended up with funfetti! Who doesn't love funfetti? : )

Charm in a small place

Waking up everyday to rooms filled with tons of character and color just makes me smile. Each item in my rooms are filled with a history of where they originated. I just love that everything has a story! That is why buying new is so blah! :)
