Before and After Wall Hanging: Adding a pop of color

Who doesn't love a mini makeover? I have had this cross shaped wall hanging for a while now and I just can't part with it. It shares a bit of rustic feel and reminds me of my strong catholic faith.
With all white walls in our new place, this piece needed a pop of color. With some leftover chalk paint from another project I worked on, I found the solution. I outlined the details of the wall hanging with a pretty blue and now it pops on the wall.
