Custom Easter Basket & More Spring Decor in Our Home

I am so excited to show you Brie's first Easter Basket. I ordered it on online and couldn't wait for it to arrive. I was not happy it took more than a month to be delivered but it's here in time for Easter :)

Our first post on Spring Decor in a Rental was a big success! I wanted to add a few more touches of spring a light colors to complete our Spring look. Thank you all for checking our home out! I love all your wonderful comments :)

Spring Decor in a Rental

Renting has its limitations. You want to hang a million things on the wall, but don't want the nail holes to fix later on. You want to decorate outside for the holidays, but you are renting in a city and there is no lawn to decorate. These are some of my family's limitations with renting.

We are going to start our home search in the next few months, but in the meantime.....we work with what we have. We love the town and home we are living in now, but are ready to set out on this new chapter of our lives and grow as a family into a new home. When decorating for spring, I made the most of our "entrance way" into our home. It makes me smile every time I go out and in our door.

Happy Spring!

Happy Day,
Alison

Spring Touches

Happy Wednesday! I can't believe the week is halfway over, but ready do my trip to Arizona this weekend! Anyways, last weekend I added a few Spring touches to my place. Th living room was looking dull and I am just living the new mint color that is trending. My favorite purchase was the frame from Homegoods!

Tulips make everything better! Enjoy your day!

The Repurposed Spring Look for $4

Good Morning! Yesterday's post showed the Spring update in my place. Today is about how I made it. I only spent $4 on the Easter look because I repurposed some of the stuff. I have tons of Easter decorations, but the have not made the move yet to my new place. So simplicity was this years Spring  then for me.
Some extra patterned paper I already had

Easter stickers from AC Moore for $1

I came up with the idea to use and old frame to make Easter art!

I purchased the basket in the middle from Target for $3.
I had the bird's nest and the wreath that is underneath already. : )
