Morning! I wanted to share the beginning of my teacup collection with you. There is something about them that just screams PRETTY! Here is a few of my favorite teacups.

This is my fav one! I bought it at the Mohonk House (one of my favorite vacations) and it has a little side plate attached to it for scones.
The little one on top of it was a favor from my bridal shower from 5 years ago.

My First and Favorite Thrift Find!

Almost a year and a half ago, I found the courage to step foot into my first Goodwill store : ) The items were overwhelming and I had no idea where to begin the junk adventure, yet something told me to search far and deep to the back of the store......THERE IT WAS. An amazing vintage fan that was so amazing I almost had a heart attack! It even works...but I just wanted it for the character and charm it had....and the $5 price tag just made it even more amazing!!!!!!

A little black and white action...the fan is silver but am thinking about spray painting it a pink and moving it to a different room. Thoughts?
Nothing beats a good vintage find with a fab price tag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lacey Window

Happy Labor Day Everyone! I wanted to share this project I did with you over the holiday weekend. Remember a few posts back I gave an old window a little makeover?

This is the original window that I turned into a flower planter.

Well.....I had a second window that I wanted to do something a little different than the first. When I was thrifting, I found a lace window curtain for $1.99. I loved the simplicity and beauty in the lace that I could not pass up the great deal for pretty lace : ) I then decided to dress up the old window with the lace curtain and a wood applique that I purchased from Lowe's for $5. Here is the final product.

LOVE the way it came out. So innocent and pretty. Will probably display it on a mini easel. What do you think???

Flowers make me happy...especially $7 bouquets!!

Good Morning Everyone! Just wanted to share a floral arrangement that I threw together from old flowers and a new bouquet. The old ones, both from Trader Joe's, were still going strong after a week but needed a little more life to them. With the addition of a few pink roses, I came up with something very pretty : )

Here is the arrangement on top of a table that was given to me by my Aunt who was planning on throwing it out......she knows me better than that : )
I painted the wood side table white and just love how it came out.
